This charming vintage white wicker handbag was very popular in the 1950s and 60s and came in a variety of sea shell designs.
The various sea shells on this one, are all placed on a white lace type open weave fabric. The entire decorated panel is edged in a fancy gold trim, with a clear layer of plastic to protect the underwater scene.
The hinges at the bottom of the bag are made of leather, and there are 4 gold tone protective feet to hold the bag upright. The top is framed in white marbleized lucite with a metal clasp and double lucite handles.
This is a perfect summer handbag that can also be used as a fun picnic basket!
Make it your next collectors item with each bag having its own unique shell design, you can't go wrong!
